On Saturday, June 1, the City of Brighton will host Summerfest, one of Brighton’s largest community festivals. Summerfest will be held at Carmichael Park, 650 E. Southern St., from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.
The event will include kids’ activities such as a petting zoo, face painting, a climbing wall, and bungee trampolines. The First National Bank Entertainment Stage will feature musical entertainment beginning at 11 a.m. with the event’s headliner, country artist Craig Campbell, taking the stage at 3 p.m.. The Richard Lambert Foundation will host a beer garden for those 21 and older.
All activities at Carmichael Park during Summerfest are free and open to the public, including kids’ activities and concerts at the First National Bank Entertainment Stage.
The Gary Moore Amusements Carnival will also return to the Brighton Pavilions from Friday, May 31 through Sunday, June 2. Unlimited ride wristbands will be sold for $20/day.
